Sources of Inaccuracy in Automatic Tracking
- Idle time classification — time with no input (phone call, meeting, thinking) is counted as idle, not active work. TheDeskMonitor's configurable idle threshold minimises false negatives.
- Offline work — work done without internet access is not captured by cloud-based agents (though TheDeskMonitor buffers locally and syncs on reconnect).
- Non-monitored devices — work done on personal phones, tablets, or paper notes is not captured by any software.
